ACORN and Voter Registration Fraud

I’ve been reading about this Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) organization story. Apparently, there have been allegations on two fronts. The one is that ACORN has been registering voters with false names, or who may be dead, or registering voters more than one time. On another front, there are suggested connections between the work ACORN is doing and the Barack Obama campaign, which implies that Sen. Obama has knowledge of and approves of these activities.

I’m shocked! Stunned, amazed, and quite surprised.

Having lived around Chicago for more than 30 years, I hadn’t realized that it’s not legal to vote when you’re dead. Nor did I realize you can’t vote as many times as you’d like! In fact, this is the first I’ve heard of it!

I just assumed that putting up a candidate for election would include whatever is normal for that candidate’s State of origin.
